Well I can tell you it is not just a state of mind. It happens to be along the Texas coast, and it is nothing short of heavenly.
My name is Jody, and I am married to Bill. We have 4 children, 3 boys and a girl ranging in ages from 4-14yo. I started taking images of my family in 1994 with a point and shoot film camera, and graduated to digital with a Canon point and shoot in 2004. I bought my first DSLR in April 2007, and never looked back. Currently I shoot with a Nikon D80, and an assortment of Nikkor glass. I am a self taught photographer and voraciously devour all things related to image capture. With my photography I try to bring to life the colors, sights, smells and activities of coastal living. The vivid greens, more shades of blue than you thought existed, and life lived with fullness and gusto. So, grab a chair, kick off your flip flops, and enjoy the images. You just might smell the salt in the air and feel the sand between your toes.
